Nice to meet you, my name's Sarah Haftorson! I'm a freelance illustrator and motion designer in Portland. I love animating in After Effects using 2D design, illustration, and cel animation to invite viewers on a journey of discovery.

I was born in Guigang, China and adopted at a very young age. Growing up in the United States, I've always had a deep desire to learn more about my culture. Through color, timing, and flow, I enjoy visually telling stories with which people can emotionally connect.

A few of my favorite things: food (especially dessert), travel, analyzing movies, archery, soccer, meditating, and spending time with family.
